This project has been with me for a long time.
It didn’t begin in the studio,
but in the south of Chile —
in dense, wet forests that felt endless.
There was something there I couldn’t name at the time.
But I felt it.
SELVA is the result of slowly moving towards that feeling.
Not forcing it.
Not defining it too early.
Letting it take form.
Inspired by the jungle, the compositions grow dense and organic.
Built from lines and dots, they resemble living structures —
layered, intertwined, constantly shifting.
SELVA explores abundance —
not as something to achieve,
but as a natural state to reconnect with.
Within this space, opposites begin to coexist:
strength and softness, chaos and structure, action and surrender.
SELVA is a series of twelve black-and-white linocuts,
accompanied by analogue photography.
Together, they form an intuitive map —
not of a place, but of an experience.
Each work represents a stage of the journey.
From entering, through immersion, to integration and return.
The series is released gradually —
each piece appearing over time,
following the rhythm of the process.
